From Practicum to Real Classroom: Does Experience Change Perceived Self-efficacy Beliefs of English Language Teachers?

The present study aimed to explore the changes in perceived self-efficacy beliefs of English language teachers over a four-year period, from pre-service through in-service. With that aim mind, shed light on differences actual teaching experience might create perceptions EFL teachers. data for were collected Turkish Version Teachers’ Sense Efficacy Scale adapted Çapa, et al. (2005). scale was administered three times: before and after practicum four years experience. findings indicated gradual increase participants’ efficacy levels classroom management instructional strategies course time.
